What makes us able to take something in? I know there have been times in my
life when I saw my truth or heard a helpful word, and just would not let it in. At the
time, I thought I couldn’t. Or I didn’t realize it’s value. How would my life be
different today if I had not judged all that wisdom, but merely received it?
This, for me, is at the center of Access: the tools. The tools serve no purpose but
to help me receive, to stop functioning through the limitation of judgement, and to
open my life to questions.
I had often shut down truths and tools that were offered to me in the past. It’s fairly
easy for the brain to create a justification for shutting down just about anything.
Look around you and you’ll see the results of lives lived with the brain shutting
everything down: the person who accepts this will achieve little joy, and will see
their lives as small and common.
Others seek long enough that the seeking becomes the goal. While seeking may
be fun and stimulating, it is not joyous. Had seeking become my own goal when I
first heard, “Live in the question!”? My brain quickly dismissed the wisdom: “What
the heck does that mean? How does one do that?” My questions were meant to
dismiss rather than to understand. My brain was judging me away from the tool.
So here’s my question for you today, and I hope you’ll let it in: What if it were
true? Daydream with me just a minute. . .
What if you really are an infinite being? What if your essence really does occupy
all of space, co-existing with the other infinite beings, dancing among the stars?
What if you have been functioning out of judgement and limitation? What if?
What if you truly are able to perceive, know, be, and receive EVERYTHING?
Would you be willing to give up the limitations and claim your talents?
What if you really are able to create anything, even things that your brain can’t find
a logical path to?
Our daydream is true. Life without limitation is a choice. Shutting it down is a
choice. You can make either right now.
What would it take for you to give up our choices for limitation? What are the
infinite possibilities for your life?
What will you create in this moment?
